An ordinary journal is to make accounting adjustments for example accruals and prepayments and should only be carried out by people who understand accounting. We suggest advisers and accountants.

How to add a new Journal ?

  • Select Accounting from the side bar menu and Journals from the drop-down menu.

  • Click on Add Journal.

  • Choose an Issue Date, enter the reference and then enter the adjustments to be made and select the correct VAT.

How to save the new Journal ?

  • If you are happy with your Journal, you can click on Save & Approve and the Journal will be added to your Posted Journals tab.

  • If the information of the Journal is incomplete or if you want to finish it later, you can click on Save as Draft and you will find the Journal in the Drafts tab.
