In hibooks, you can't archive a journal if the VAT return has been filled. Journals can be restored at anytime and are a safer option than deleting a journal. Learn how to manage Journals and how to create a Journal.

How do I Archive a Journal ?

  • First you must access the page by clicking on Accounting from the side bar menu and then on Journals from the drop-down menu.

In the system, there are two ways of archiving a Journal.

  • Either you can do it individually by clicking on the Journal you wish to archive and then selecting Archive.

  • Or you can do it in bulk, by ticking the tickbox at the top left and ticking as many as you want and then clicking on Archive.

  • In both cases you must confirm by clicking on Archive again you will find your journal in the Archived tab where you can delete or restore your journals.
