In hAIbooks, you can create a transaction in Banking. You can use this feature in the system when either you don't have bank feeds connected or when you have deleted a bank feed by error. Learn how to manage Bank Accounts and how to add a New Bank Account.

How do I Create a Transaction ?

  • First you must select Banking from the side bar menu to access the page.

  • Click on Reconcile Transactions.

  • Then select Manage Account and then click on Add Transaction.

Transaction Information

  • Date : the date of the transaction.

  • Transaction Type : you have to indicate if it is a transaction that is paid in or paid out.

  • Description : add a description to identify the transaction.

  • Payee : enter the name of the person you are paying. This field is optional.

Item

  • Account Type : select the right account for your new transaction. If you wish to create a new one, click on Create Account.

  • Net Amount : enter the Net Amount. The system can also calculate the Net Amount with the VAT Rate and the Total Amount.

  • VAT Rate : select the correct VAT rate.

  • Total Amount : enter the Total Amount. The system can also calculate the Total Amount with the VAT Rate and the Net Amount.

  • Add Item : you can create an another item in the transaction by clicking on Add Item.

Optional Information

  • Attach files : by clicking on this button you can attach files from your device which you want to link to the transaction.

When you are happy with the transaction, click on Save.
